It is time again for Follow My Book Blog Friday hosted at Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read. This is a great ways to meet and befriend your fellow bloggers.
So, here goes with this week's question:
Q:What is the longest book you've ever read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?
The longest book I've ever read is It by Stephen King (1090 pages) which is a fabulous book.
My other favorite 600+ reads are: The Deathly Hallows (759 pages), David Copperfield by Charles Dickens (974 pages) and Exodus by Leon Uris (608 pages).
What are your favorite long books?
Wow! I didn't realize David Copperfield was 900+ pages!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the blog. Happy Friday :)

I read David Copperfield in school as a book written in a foreign language (well, my mother tongue but I was the only one in the class who had that luxury). The experience traumatised me and I haven't been able to read Dickens since. :( I really wanna read It, though! I love the movie of it.
ReplyDeleteMy FF.
It was super scary and I think all the HO books were long - but oh so good :-)

Great picks. Except for It. I watched the movie as a child, and it scarred me for life. I'm not a fan of clowns.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices..Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows is also a favorite of mine :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and thanks for stopping by!!
Hopping through. How was Exodus? I've thought about reading it.

For me it's Gone With the Wind, though honestly I do like the HP books better. But as far as long+ good I think Gone With the Wind needs representated.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my follow friday
If you consider the fact that the version of The Lord of The Rings I read was the one that’s one book with the 3 parts inside (1202 pages in the brazilian version), that would be the longest book I’ve ever read. But if you consider series to favorite 600+ page reads, hands down, Harry Potter. Not so much for the story, but for the feeling it brings me every time I think about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower, btw!

Oh my, long books, let's see. I too have read It (1090 pages) and The Deathly Hallows (759 pages). I've also read A Man in Full (754), Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell (1024), The Mists of Avalon (1024), The Stand (1344), and Gone With the Wind (1024). But to answer the initial question of a favorite, it has to be The Stand. It is one of my all-time favs.
